That is one reason for this blog among many others but today I want to talk about our food. Everything is bad for you! Even the foods that are good for you are now bad for you. Unless you are growing your own fruits and veggies, you are just poisoning yourself.
Humans are supposed to consume natural foods, that is, food that is grown from our good Earth and put directly onto our plate. Foods should be simple, eating should be simple but it's not. Everything has become complex and contaminated.
Back in the days of the caveman, they picked what was on the trees and whatever was growing - of course they were shit out of luck if they picked something poisonous - and they enjoyed it. They ate until they felt content and then they went on with their simple lives just playing with their over-sized club and making caveman noises. They did hunt and ate meat but I will get to that shortly.
Most human beings could live off of a diet consisting of fruits, vegetables and a handful of nuts. The FDA and government have everyone convinced that you need a certain amount of foods from all of these groups in order to be healthy. My question to the FDA is, "Why do you approve highly dangerous and even fatal chemical ingredients for my food?" Another question that comes to mind is, why in the world would companies spend so much money putting chemicals in foods that will just kill us? Oh that is right, the FDA said it was ok in these small portions. Well, just how many portions will it take to kill you or to cause a horrible disease? I know, they have to preserve the food so that you can still eat in in 3 years. WOW! Could you imagine growing some food, putting in the fridge and then eating it in 3 years? Of course not, but let's dowse it in extremely harmful chemicals that will kill you - probably sooner than 3 years, and we will eat it then! What is wrong with this picture? What is wrong with us?!
Let's look at some of our foods shall we. So here is my first analysis. Flour - flour is used for so many things. Who doesn't eat bread right? But we all know the list of uses for flour goes on. Flour is not white - freshly milled flour has a yellowish tint. Well, I am perfectly fine with baking with yellow flour aren't you? So why do they bleach flour and what do you bleach it with? They bleach it to make it appear whiter and to oxidize the surfaces of the flour grains in helping to develop gluten. Bleached flour makes your cakes rise higher instead of spreading out more and contains a finer grain. Manufacturers can use less flour this way and more sugar. Just what we need right? They bleach flour using things such as benzoyle peroxide, calcium peroxide, nitrogen dioxide, chlorine, chlorine dioxide and azodicarbonamide. Using chlorine, bromates and peroxides are not allowed in the European Union. You can simulate the effects of bleaching flour yourself by microwaving it - hummm....we all know how safe microwaves are don't we. Maybe we don't because we are all still using them right? Well, whats a little more radiation? I think that in a few years, we will all grow tails that glow in the dark. Oh, the bleaching process can produce alloxan, a destroyer of beta cells in the pancreas.
Processed foods - and isn't just about everything processed - contain an entire slew of preservatives and chemicals that god only knows who can pronounce let alone even being to fathom what the heck they are. Well, one thing is almost for sure, we all know that those long, intimidating words are bad for us don't we? Something that plagues my brain cells and messes up the synapse connection - why the hell are we still eating this crap? Oh, that's right, we are just waiting our turn for a deadly disease. After all, we will all get it sooner or later right? It is our fate isn't it? Sadly, too many people think this yet do nothing to avoid it. Another sad reality is that our food contains more poison than nutrition.
Meat - now there is a good one. Way back when - people ate their fruits, veggies and their meat. Most people were healthy unless they consumed a shit-ton of fat - which of course meat has. Now, there is great debate on meat and its killer effects on us humans. There are good and bad points to consider and I am not going to take either side with these with the exception of meat glue. I don't know how many of you have been educated on this lovely substance but it is very nasty! When butchers are left with scraps of meat - well they need to do something with it and throwing it away is not an option because that is money thrown right out the door. So what to do, what to do? I know, let's glue it together. No one will ever know - and boy is it the truth! Can you look at a piece of meat and tell that it has been glued together. More than likely, no. Meat glue is an enzyme called transglutaminase. Some meat glues are made from the cultivation of bacteria. Others are made from the blood plasma of pigs and cows, specifically the coagulant that makes blood clot. When sprinkled on the meat, it forms cross-linked, insoluble protein polymers that acts like super-glue. This binds pieces of meat together from different animals with nearly invisible seams. Even experienced butchers could not tell the difference. When eating a piece of meat that has been glued, you have 100 times higher of a chance for bacterial contamination. Combine this meat glue with what farmers are feeding their animals now, with the genetically modified food and injecting them with antibiotics and growth hormones, it is no wonder we are all dying from something. Processed meats such as chicken nuggets and imitation crab are all pulverized meat and "other" parts, all pulverized and held together with meat glue. YUMMY! Enjoy your meal!
Fruits and veggies are drenched in chemicals to prevent bugs and animals from eating them before we get to ingest those delicious chemicals. Even washing them does not remove all of the chemicals, not to mention that even when tested, chemically treated produce still contained chemicals within the fruit and vegetable from it absorbing it in.
Everyone got lazy and we shop in stores for our convenience and pay out the ass for foods that are killing us ever single day making the rich get richer and us get sicker! It's ok, though, the FDA approves it all! WTF?? It's all in the name of money, and money is power and power is control.
I could talk about this all day. There is literally vast amounts of horrific things we are ingesting that have labels that no one really understands when they read them anyway. The first thing you see on a label is usually what that product has the most of in it. This brings me to a pet peeve. Why do we need three sugar sources in one product? Start checking labels guys. Many items have sugar, high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup. Damn diabetes here we come! I just don't get it.
Ok, well here is some food for thought, and I wonder if this would be FDA approved since it contains no bull shit. LMAO! Love you guys! :)
