When I was a kid, life was one big world of mystery that I wanted to explore all of the time. I wanted to know everything. My mind was a giant question mark? I wanted to know how the world was made, who was God, why we were here, etc. It didn't stop there though. I also wanted to know what those flying specs of dark and light particles were, that would rapidly change the angles at which they flew, and at super high speeds. I wanted to know why people would glow all of the time. I wanted to know who the white -silhouette figure was that would stand near my bed several times a month just staring at me. I could go on and on about the things that I questioned and the things that I never knew wasn't an every day occurance to many people.
It wasn't until I was older, probably in the latter years of elementary school, that I started to realize that not everyone could see people glowing - aka, an aura. Not everyone could see energy in the air, feel, hear, and see ghosts and meet their spirit guide. I kept things pretty quiet because back in those days, people would either think you to be a lunatic or evil. If they couldn't see it or hear it, etc., it couldn't possibly be, or something was really wrong with you. My niece and I, (who are only a year and a half apart in age) used to enjoy talking to all kinds of entities that seemed to be invisible to the outside world, and we kept it to ourselves in fear that we would be thought of as weird, strange, ridiculed or thought badly of. We never even told our families.
